Jang Se-hyuk beat 120-to-1 audition odds to land the lead in 너에게 다이브 (Dive to You), the Saturday-Sunday drama that aired episodes 7 and 8 recently. He was a trainee at YG Entertainment before his acting career began.
He plays Yoon Ha-ru, a brother determined to protect his younger sibling. Co-star Kim Ji-yeon's character Yoon Ha-na has her spirit enter Ha-ru's body—Jang Se-hyuk plays both versions of the same person, a split that episodes 7 and 8 lean heavily into.
The cast rounds out with Kim Han-young as Lee Hyeong-won, Park Seo-ham as Jeong Woo-jae, and Moon Seung-yu as Seo Ye-rang. In a pivotal moment from the recent episodes, Ha-ru tells Woo-jae: "It's okay, as long as Woo-jae is safe."
