Lee Chan-won previews JTBC appearance, announces December Kintex concert
Lee Chan-won, 30, announced a Wednesday night appearance on '톡파원 25시' and confirmed a three-day fan concert at Kintex in Goyang this December.

Lee Chan-won (이찬원, 30) posted on October 14 to announce his appearance on JTBC's 톡파원 25시. The photo showed him in a checkered shirt and suspender pants against a green background.
"Wednesday has arrived when I can meet 멜빵또 on 톡파원 25시," he wrote, adding that fans should "watch live on JTBC at 9:50 PM."
The suspender look — which he calls "멜빵또" — has become a recurring bit tied to his appearances on the show.
The award record behind the name
Lee Chan-won placed 3rd in the final of 미스터트롯 and took the title of 1st Mr. Trot Beauty from that same competition. His single 편의점 reached 1st place on music broadcasts. His self-composed track 참 좋은 날 followed, along with the OST 시절인연.
At the KBS Entertainment Awards, he climbed from Excellence Award to Grand Prize, taking the top honor in 2024. In September 2026, he ranked 1st in the male category of the K-Star Trot Index for three consecutive months — his fourth time at the top this year alone.
December at Kintex
His official fan club, 찬스 (Chance), named for the idea that artist and fans become good opportunities in each other's lives, will get a dedicated event this winter. 2026 이찬원 콘서트 찬스 감사제 : 함께여서 찬란했습니다 runs December 18–20 at Kintex Hall 5, Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang, Gyeonggi.
Three nights in Goyang is not a small ask for a trot act. The venue capacity and the consecutive-day run say something about where his fanbase is right now.
