Lee Chan-won guests on tvN STORY's 'Nam Gyeo-seo Mwo Hage' episode 62
The trot singer joins the Monday night food show on Oct. 12, hitting a 37-year-old gopchang institution in Guri and sharing an audition story about a 300,000-won suit.

Lee Chan-won eats gopchang, tells his origin story
Episode 62 of tvN STORY's Nam Gyeo-seo Mwo Hage ("What's the Point of Leaving It") airs October 12 at 8 PM, with Lee Chan-won — billed as "the young prince of trot" — as the featured guest.
The Daegu-born singer visits a gopchang restaurant on Angol-ro in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do: a 37-year-old original that sells 1,000 geun of intestines on weekdays alone. The menu includes perilla-oil garlic algopchang, vegetable gopchang, and algopchang. Tasting the vegetable gopchang, Lee said: "This is the taste I ate when I was young in Daegu. There aren't many vegetable gopchang places like this in Seoul."
The episode also features a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant on Gyeongchun-ro in Guri-si, where more than 100 menu items rotate on rails. Lee Young-ja and Park Se-ri prepare a "trot platter" for Lee Chan-won, while Lee Chan-won plans his own trot platter for Song Min-jun and a group of young trot prodigies. The prodigies also stage an unlimited eating broadcast and a special jintobbaegi performance in his honor.
The 500,000-won suit he never got
Beyond the food, Lee Chan-won revisits his first audition for the 101 preliminary round. He had asked his mother to buy him a 500,000-won formal suit for the stage — she came back with a 300,000-won one instead. He did not say a single word on the bus ride home. (He also skipped his shift at his parents' makchang restaurant and headed straight to Seoul, which tracks.)
Nam Gyeo-seo Mwo Hage airs every Monday at 8 PM on tvN STORY.
