Song Gain headlined the 2026 Korea Grand Festival's opening night in Andong on Nov. 1, weeks after her latest MV crossed 1 million views.
Song Gain opens the 2026 Korea Grand Festival in Andong
Song Gain performed at the opening concert of the 2026 Korea Grand Festival, held at an outdoor special stage behind Andong Station on Jungang Line 1942 in Andong, Gyeongbuk. The festival runs until November 15 and involves approximately 40,000 companies and stores nationwide. Lee Chan-won, Beatfella House, Hitzis, and Candy Shop also performed.
After the show, Song Gain posted on Instagram: "Thank you today as well. I love you AGAIN."
14 years in, and she's still dropping new music
This year marks Song Gain's 14th debut anniversary. She debuted in 2012 with the single 바람아 강바람아, 사랑가 and has kept releasing music steadily through 2026.
In July she released 꽃이 아니면 어떤가 (부제: 질경이), the third track in the Song Gain X Legend Project series. It blends Brazilian festival house sound, samba house rhythm, and trot sensibility into a hybrid dance genre. The first two entries were 눈물이 난다, a collaboration with Shim Su-bong, and 사랑의 맘보, a collaboration with Seol Un-do. The music video for 꽃이 아니면 어떤가 surpassed 1 million views. A live clip video went up on her official YouTube channel on October 30.
OSTs and variety rounding out the year
Song Gain released the MMORPG game Yeolhyeol Kangho: Next OST 동행 (同行) on October 29, and the KBS2 weekend drama Love Prescription OST 사랑아 사랑아. She also appeared in the recently concluded SBS real variety show 제철리 마을회관.
