NMIXX appear on Olive Young's new K-pop shopping show 'Green Room' two days after mini-album drop
CJ Olive Young launched 'Green Room' on Oct 21, a live K-pop talk-shopping hybrid hosted by BTOB's Seo Eun-kwang, with NMIXX as its first guests.
NMIXX hit a live shopping stage two days into their comeback
CJ Olive Young's new broadcast program Green Room debuted October 21 at 8 PM. Four NMIXX members—Lily, Seol-yoon, Bae, and Gyujin—showed up just two days after the group released their sixth mini-album Strange Muse on October 19.
BTOB's Seo Eun-kwang hosted. The format seats him in an "artist waiting room" where he invites recently-released acts to talk through new music and behind-the-scenes production stories. NMIXX introduced their new songs and performed.
The show aired on Olive Young's OlYoung Live platform, the YouTube channel OlYoung TV, and the Japanese-language O.Y LIVE on Olive Young Global Mall, with real-time translation for Japanese viewers.
What viewers and buyers got out of it
Customers who bought an album and verified the purchase during the show entered a drawing for limited photos, autographed albums, and Olive Young gift certificates. Every buyer received Olive Young points equal to the shipping cost. Viewers could also join interactive games with the artists. Selected participants won popular products from major Olive Young beauty brands.
The business case behind the format
Olive Young's album category revenue from January through September 2026 rose 152% year-on-year. The company started selling K-pop albums on its Global Mall in 2022. It then expanded to domestic online, offline stores, and pop-up locations. OlYoung Live itself launched in 2019. In 2024, Olive Young added a dedicated studio and introduced "Partner Live," a format where tenant brands plan and run their own broadcasts.
Green Room is Olive Young's first K-pop-linked shopping broadcast. Two trial runs are scheduled for 2026, followed by regular seasonal scheduling from 2027 with a gradually expanding artist roster.
