Son Bin-a drops debut mini album 'Na Geudearul', first TV Chosun-produced trot album
The Mister Trot 3 runner-up dropped her first mini album on the 23rd—a TV Chosun first for any Top 7 alum from the entire Miss/Mister Trot series.
Son Bin-a's first mini album is a TV Chosun first
Son Bin-a released her debut mini album Na Geudearul on the 23rd. TV Chosun had never produced a trot album before. She's the first artist from the entire Miss/Mister Trot series Top 7 history to release one under that label.
Two title tracks anchor the record. Na Geudearul layers a melancholic melody over lyrical string instrument lines. The dance trot number Aein Hapsida came from Jang Yoon-jung, who wrote and composed it.
From runner-up to solo debut
Son Bin-a took second place on Mister Trot 3, where she caught attention for her vocal ability and stage presence. She's since appeared on Geum Taneun Geumyoil and Miss Trot For You (미스트롯 포유).
(Jang Yoon-jung writing for you is not a small thing.)
