Wendy (Red Velvet) confirms November 2026 solo comeback
Red Velvet's Wendy is returning with a new solo album in November 2026, about 1 year and 2 months after her third mini-album *Cerulean Verge*.

Wendy's agency Ascend confirmed on October 14 that the Red Velvet member will release a new solo album in November 2026. The specific release date and album format are still being finalized.
Roughly 1 year and 2 months have passed since her third mini-album Cerulean Verge (September 2025). That project featured title track "Sunkiss" across 6 tracks and ranked 18th on Billboard's "2025 Best Albums" list. Her solo discography includes Like Water (April 2021), Wish You Hell, and Cerulean Verge. She's also contributed OSTs to "FLY," "한마디면 돼요," Daydream, and My Everything.
Ascend said Wendy "has proven her musical capabilities through distinctive vocal skills and delicate expressiveness each time" and is expected to bring "different charms" to the new album.
What she's been doing since the tour
Wendy kicked off the W:EALIVE world tour in September 2025 at Seoul Jangchung Gymnasium. She then hit 15 cities across 9 countries—Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, the United States, Thailand, Malaysia, Macau, and the Philippines. At "Disney Hits LIVE!" in Taipei Music Center, she performed as a special guest, singing OSTs from Mulan, Frozen, and High School Musical. She currently hosts SBS PowerFM's Wendy's Young Street as DJ.
