Won Jin-ah joins World Food Day campaign with empty-bowl post
Won Jin-ah posted a photo of an empty bowl for World Food Day, urging followers to back the WFP's Zero Hunger initiative.

Won Jin-ah's empty bowl, explained
Won Jin-ah posted photos of a cleanly emptied bowl to mark World Food Day, joining the WFP's Zero Hunger campaign. She asked her followers: "Did you finish your meal cleanly today?"
She didn't gloss over the reality. "When eating out, it's sometimes not easy to finish a bowl cleanly," she wrote. At home, she tries to cook only what she can eat. Her ask was direct: "Together with the WFP, which delivers food to the places in the world that need it most, please support a world where everyone enjoys a sufficient meal."
A busy stretch before the agency move
The post landed during a packed stretch of work. Won Jin-ah debuted in 2015 with the short film Catch Ball and won Best New Actress at the 6th Asia Pacific Star Awards in 2018 for the drama Just Love.
Recent projects:
- Untold Secret (2025 film) — lead role Yoo Jung-ah, directed by Seo Yu-min
- I-Shopping (2025, ENA Mon-Tue drama) — Kim Ah-hyun, the leader and emotional anchor of a group of surviving children
- Judge Lee Han-young (2026, MBC) — Kim Jin-ah, a prosecutor at Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office
- Variety appearances on MBC's All-Knowing Talking Show (2022–2023), ENA's Jigumabeul World Tour 2 (2024), and several 2025 shows including tvN's Amazing Saturday and Jjanhan-hyung Shin Dong-yeop
She moved to a new agency after wrapping Judge Lee Han-young. (Colleagues call her "Border Collie" — a nickname that stuck thanks to her energy and outgoing personality.)
A Cheonan native who trains in kickboxing and mixed martial arts, Won Jin-ah said the campaign reshaped how she sees food. "Through this opportunity, I also feel the value of food and hope for a world where everyone doesn't skip meals," she wrote.
