Kim Jong-min tells newlywed to 'just endure everything' while wife is 17 weeks pregnant
Kim Jong-min told a newlywed stranger to "just endure everything" on '1 Night 2 Days' — weeks after announcing his own wife's pregnancy.

The advice that landed differently
Kim Jong-min met a newlywed on the November 1 episode of 1 Night 2 Days Season 4 (KBS 2TV, ep. 348) and offered him four words of marriage wisdom: "Just endure everything."
The cast — Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Lee Jun, Dindin, Lee Yong-jin, and Lee Ki-taek — had traveled to Yeosu City in Jeollanam-do Gwangyang Integrated Special City when they recruited a citizen on the spot. The man revealed he had married in February of this year and was on a trip with his wife. Kim Jong-min's advice, delivered with what the show described as a meaningful look, hit differently given his own situation.
17 weeks in
Kim Jong-min married a non-celebrity businesswoman 11 years his junior on April 20 of last year. His wife, known by the nickname Hiyung and noted for resembling actress Kim Ji-won, is currently pregnant. He announced the pregnancy on Superman is Back (KBS 2TV) on October 7.
At the time of recording, she was 17 weeks along. Kim Jong-min said he had prepared for the moment deliberately:
"I abstained from alcohol and managed my health for 1 year to have a child. Thanks to that, the child came to us quickly."
Spend a full year sober for fatherhood, and suddenly "just endure everything" becomes comedy.
