Goblin Cast Reunites at Jumunjin Beach for the 10th Anniversary

Ten years after tvN's Goblin redefined Korean fantasy romance, the four leads — Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, and Yoo In-na — are heading back to Gangneung's Jumunjin coast together. The special variety program Together We Shine, Divine — Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip premieres July 4 at 9:10 PM on tvN, and it's the reunion that's been living rent-free in every Goblin fan's head since the finale credits rolled.

The Jumunjin seaside location isn't just a backdrop choice — it's the exact stretch of beach where Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) first crossed paths in the drama. The anniversary poster leans all the way into that nostalgia: all four cast members stand against that same Jumunjin sea, holding the drama's signature props — the red scarf, buckwheat flower bouquet, candle, and cake. For anyone who watched the original run, that image alone is going to hit hard.

The highlight reel dropped on June 11 gives a real sense of what the special will feel like — less polished variety show, more a genuine group of people processing a shared experience that clearly still means a lot to them. Gong Yoo described Goblin as "the most brilliant winter of my life." Yoo In-na said no matter how much time passes, it pulls her straight back — "like a pin fixed in place." These aren't press-junket soundbites; they read like people who genuinely didn't expect a drama to stay with them this long.

The group dynamic is also a highlight. Kim Go-eun, the youngest of the four, warned before the trip that "chaos is expected" — which immediately put the others on edge in the best way. Lee Dong-wook, meanwhile, put on a black hat and immediately slipped back into Grim Reaper mode, shouting in-character lines and sending the whole group into fits. The way that the cast's chemistry has clearly not dimmed at all over a decade is exactly what makes this worth watching even if you've already rewatched the drama twice.

There are genuinely emotional moments too. Yoo In-na told Gong Yoo on camera, "You are all of our Goblin" — and visibly teared up saying it. Kim Go-eun added that the team's bond was what got them through the production: "We could endure because we had each other." For fans who followed the original broadcast, these moments are going to feel like a proper closing chapter — or maybe a reopening of one.

This special is also part of tvN's 20th anniversary programming slate, which gives it a bit more weight than a standard reunion variety. The network is treating Goblin as one of its defining works, and the production clearly agrees — bringing the full original cast back to the actual filming location rather than a studio set is a deliberate choice that pays off visually and emotionally.

If you're planning a Seoul trip and want to make a side trip to Gangneung, Jumunjin Beach is now firmly on the Goblin pilgrimage map — and this special will only intensify that. The premiere is July 4 on tvN.
