Bacchus Energy Pop-Up in Yeouido: Three Interactive Missions, Free Gifts
Bacchus, Korea's iconic fatigue-recovery drink since 1963, just opened a pop-up in Yeouido that's nothing like the tired energy-drink booth you'd expect. The "Play Me Now" campaign ties a real experience to the brand's refresh positioning — and the setup is genuinely clever enough that you'll spend a full 30 minutes there without feeling rushed.
The pop-up runs June 17–21 in the North Atrium on B3 of IFC Mall, Yeouido. Nearest subway: Yeouido Station. Walk-in only — no reservation needed, but it's a 5-day run in a high-foot-traffic mall, so mornings will be less crowded than evenings.

There are three interactive mission zones, each with a physical challenge tied to a mood or message. The "Courage" zone asks you to hit illuminated buttons that light up in sequence — simple, quick, and each button displays an affirming message when you nail the timing. The "Vitality" zone is harder: you step into an enclosed space and grab blue balls falling from above. (The blogger's tip: cup your hands loosely and stay still; the balls roll into your palms naturally.) The "Confidence" zone is a photo booth where you and a friend take a 4-cut photo holding a Bacchus bottle — instant keepsake.

Once you complete the missions and write down a personal commitment or affirmation on a card, you move to the reward station and receive a 3-pack of Bacchus (including a caffeine-free option). The pop-up then offers an Instagram verification step: snap a photo at the main photo zone (staff will frame and shoot you), post it to your Instagram story with the pop-up tag, show staff the proof, and you get a Bacchus-branded lip balm.

The free haul is substantial — the blogger left with both hands full of merch and samples. Beyond the Bacchus 3-pack and lip balm, you also walk away with a keychain made from your photo booth picture. During the pop-up's run, there's a 25% discount coupon handed out too, which stacks value if you're a regular Bacchus buyer.

Who this is for: anyone killing time in Yeouido before a meeting, K-tourists clustering pop-ups in a single day, or Bacchus drinkers curious about the brand's pivot toward "energy and courage in everyday life" rather than just fatigue recovery. The messaging is earnest without being cloying, and the physical interaction — especially the photo booth and the ball-catching game — gives you an actual memory, not just a branded selfie.

Practical note: the entire experience takes 25–40 minutes depending on crowd and how long you linger at photo zones. Go early in the day if you want shorter waits at the mission stations. The pop-up closes June 21, so if you're in Seoul that week and near Yeouido, it's worth the detour.
