Tonymoly's 20th Anniversary Pop-Up in Seongsu: Free Gifts, Easy Games, No Empty Hands
Tonymoly just turned 20, and their Seongsu pop-up is the kind of celebration that actually rewards you for showing up. If you're planning a Seoul trip and want to hit a pop-up that doesn't hinge on your gaming skills or wallet size, this one's worth clustering into a Seongsu day.
The pop-up is in Seongsu, near Seongsu Station—a neighborhood already packed with indie cafés and design shops, so you can easily spend a full afternoon in the area. The store itself walks you through Tonymoly's 20-year product timeline in the décor, so if you've used their stuff for a while, it's genuinely nostalgic without being cheesy.

Here's the structure: you get a free entry gift (a Tonymoly fan plus a mini lip serum or tint remover—your choice), then you complete three missions spread across the space. The first is a cube-matching game where staff show you a card and you recreate the pattern—genuinely easy, with generous time and staff who help if you're slow. The second is a ball-draw game to complete Tonymoly's new slogan; the correct words are a different color so you can't really fail. The third is testing the brand's new Gettin' Tint Waterpul Syrup collaboration with Kitz Shop and telling staff which shade you prefer.

Each mission gives you a product immediately—not a raffle, not a voucher. You walk out with a 50ml toner, your choice of a Black Tea kit (green tea, azulene, or black tea options), and a mini cushion compact. The missions take maybe 15–20 minutes total, and there's zero gatekeeping. After missions, there's a free-test zone where you can swatch products and pick a favorite shade to take home.

If you buy anything, you get a gacha ticket for a free full-size cushion compact (Zootopia edition), and the Gettin' Tint itself is discounted to 12,000 won from the usual price. Purchase also nets you a silicon keyring.

The blogger notes this is refreshing because it's not a "fail the game, leave empty-handed" setup—it's designed so everyone leaves with armfuls of stuff and actually enjoys the experience. Pre-booking is closed, but walk-ins can book on-site and still enter, so if you're in Seongsu, just show up.

Running through July 26, 11AM–8PM daily. Seongsu Station, Exit 4 is closest. If you're already in the neighborhood for cafés or shopping, the pop-up is a no-brainer 20-minute detour that actually feels generous—rare for a brand anniversary event.
