Hiyori Sando pop-up at Seoul Station: fresh fruit sandwiches, walk-in only

Chloé Martin·7/11/2026, 4:01:02 PM

If you've seen those Japanese fruit sandwiches with perfectly stacked peaches, melon, and mango — those are Hiyori Sando, and there's a pop-up right now at Seoul Station that's worth timing into your trip. The sandwiches are that kind of beautiful: thick-cut fruit, creamy filling, the kind of dessert that photographs better than it tastes (though the taste is genuinely good). The pop-up is running through July 30 in the main concourse just outside Exit 2 of Line 1, so if you're catching a train or passing through the station anyway, you can grab one without detouring.

The setup is straightforward: it's a small counter doing restocks at 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily. Peach sando runs 8,500 won, orange 8,000 won — prices that undercut the official menu slightly, so there's a small win there. The blogger grabbed four sandwiches (peach, melon, two mango) for 32,000 won on a Saturday at 5 PM and reported a 20-person queue ahead, so if you're going on a weekend, arrive closer to a restock time or expect a wait. The fruit quality here reads noticeably bigger and fresher than what you'd find at the Yongsan branch, which makes sense for a limited-run pop-up.

Walk-in only — no reservation needed, but stock moves fast, especially on weekends. If you're in the Jung-gu area or heading to Yongsan anyway, cluster this with other Seoul Station stops (the Tartine bakery at Yongsan I-Park Mall is a short walk if you want a second dessert angle). The pop-up is a real find because it's tucked into a transit hub where most people are just passing through; the fact that it's there at all makes it a soft-launch moment for anyone who knows to look.

One note: the blogger flagged that the fruit sandwiches here are visibly larger and higher quality than the permanent Yongsan location, so this pop-up isn't just a restock — it's a better version of the product. If you're a fan of the brand or just curious about Japanese fruit sando culture, this is the Seoul moment to try it.
