CORTIS performed at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Plaza on June 12 for a KT-organized World Cup street cheering event ahead of South Korea vs. Czech Republic.

CORTIS were the only K-pop group to perform at the 'KT 2026 Cheering: We All Together. Victory!' event at Gwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul on the morning of June 12.
KT, the Korea Football Association, and the Red Devils organized the street rally ahead of South Korea's first 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Czech Republic. Martin, James, Joohoon, Sunghyun, and Gunho opened their set alongside band Transfiction, performing the cheering anthem Seungri-reul Wihayeo (For Victory) in red uniforms and face paint styled after the Red Devils. "Today the sun is hot, but please show passion hotter than sunlight," the group called out to the crowd.
They ran through four songs: debut track What You Want, GO!, mini album 2 title track REDRED, and B-side YOUNGCREATORCREW. The REDRED point choreography — known as the 'Pallanggwi dance' (ear-flapping dance) — featured in the performance. They also dropped a short-form video on official SNS with modified lyrics: "우리 팀 우리 팀 go red-red, 넘어가 16강 green green."
YOUNGCREATORCREW has been generating its own traction, spawning the slang term 'Yeong-keu-keu' (Young Creator Crew) as a keyword associated with the younger generation.
The Gwanghwamun appearance lands during an active run for the group. Mini album 2 GREENGREEN cleared 2.31 million copies in initial sales and hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200, their highest chart position to date. Their first solo tour, '2026 CORTIS TOUR,' sold out all seven North American dates.
