FTISLAND launched the 'FaTe' world tour in Seoul and are hitting 9 more cities. Lee Hong-gi is already teasing solo content and a 7th studio album.

FTISLAND's Lee Hong-gi is on the road and already looking ahead.
The band opened the 2026 FTISLAND TOUR 0 — XIX — III 'FaTe' at Seoul KBS Arena with dates lined up in Macau, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Nagoya, Kobe, and Tokyo. Right after the Seoul shows, Lee Hong-gi posted a shirtless photo on an outdoor basketball court with the caption "SKULLHONG COMING SOON." His message to fans: "How excited were you all!! Really ㅋㅋㅋㅋ you're the best."
The tour coincides with a recent release. On June 14, FTISLAND dropped a remake of 눈물이 더 가까운 사람 (2026) — a rock ballad from their 2007 special album The Refreshment — recorded as a duet with Monday Kiz's Lee Jin-sung. The track explores heartbreak and longing.
Next up: Lee Hong-gi (35) will balance band and solo work tied to FTISLAND's 7th album, Serious.
He debuted as an actor in 2001 on KBS 2TV before FTISLAND launched with Cheerful Sensibility in 2007. His solo track 눈치없이 hit No. 1 on both The Show and Music Bank in 2015. Recent stage work includes the lead role of Arima Kousei in the 2024 musical 4월은 너의 거짓말, Joe in the 2025 musical 슈가 at Korea Electric Power Corporation Art Center, and a guest spot as a lawyer in the 2025 SBS drama 사계의 봄.
Nine cities left. The FaTe era is far from over.
