FT Island released Noran Seom ("You, an Island") on July 29 as the official theme song for the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo. The three-piece debuted in 2007. Their name itself means "Five Treasure Island."
Noran Seom layers a hopeful lyrical melody with the band's signature high-energy rock sound. The song captures the beauty and value of islands and the warmth of human connection.
An AI-produced official music video is coming. The organizing committee also released behind-the-scenes footage and member support videos on the expo's official social media channels.
Starting 30 days before the expo opens, a free mobile ringtone event using the theme song will run to expand promotional reach. The track is available for free download on the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo official website under 박람회소개 > 박람회상징 > 주제곡.
Main vocalist Lee Hong-gi said: "I hope that after listening to the theme song, many people feel like heading to Yeosu." He added that he hopes visitors "see and feel the charm of the beautiful islands" at the expo.
