Im Chang-jung drops 'Tatatat' on July 4 at 6 PM KST — a semi-trot track fusing EDM energy with trot melody, produced with longtime collaborator '늑대'.

Im Chang-jung releases new single 타타탓 (Tatatat) on July 4 at 6 PM through major online music platforms.
The track pairs EDM's burst energy against trot's familiar melody. Built on his signature empathetic storytelling, it carries an addictive hook and upbeat rhythm. The song is billed as a "형아표 팩폭응원송" (an older-brother-style blunt encouragement song), poking fun at the universal habit of pushing plans off with "starting tomorrow" or "starting next week."
Composer 늑대 (Neugdae) produced the track. He's worked with Im Chang-jung on 촌스러운 발라드, 힘든 건 사랑이 아니다, 별거 없던 그 하루로, and 슬퍼도 사랑이던. That's a well-worn creative partnership, and the pairing signals what kind of record this is going to be.
Im Chang-jung debuted in 1990 and has moved between music and film throughout his career. Ballad hits like 소주 한 잔 and 내가 저지른 사랑 anchor his catalog. 타타탓 marks a genre step — semi-trot with EDM construction is a different lane from the ballads he built his name on. JG Star announced the release on June 26.
