JAY B's 'TR.EE' hits #1 on iTunes in 10 regions, reaches #9 on Worldwide Album Chart

JAY B's third mini album TR.EE landed at #9 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart right after its November 11 release. It topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 10 regions: Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The album also charted in the upper tier in Hong Kong, Argentina, Ecuador, Indonesia, Mexico, and Austria.

Title track Layback took four more #1s on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Thailand.

JAY B wrote, composed, and produced every track. At a media listening session on November 10 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, he said: "It felt like a new beginning. I was worried and scared whether many people would come to me like before." On what comes next, he added: "Rather than the ranking going up briefly after release and then dropping, I want a long run where it is loved consistently, even if the ranking is slightly lower."

He'll perform at tape:roots Seoul, a solo concert at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on November 20 and 21, followed by a Bangkok show in July.
