Ren (Choi Min-ki) finished roughly 1 year 9 months of social service on June 25, enlisting and discharging on the same dates as SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan.

Ren — real name Choi Min-ki, former member of NU'EST — was discharged from mandatory social service on June 25, 2026, roughly 1 year and 9 months after enlisting on September 26, 2024.
Jeonghan from SEVENTEEN enlisted on the exact same day and finished his service at the same time. Jeonghan becomes the first SEVENTEEN member to complete military service, and was also the first to begin it. Two members, one discharge day.
Ren debuted with NU'EST in 2012. He competed on Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017, finishing 20th. NU'EST's group activities officially ended in March 2022. After that he worked as a solo artist and actor, releasing his first solo album Ren'dezvous eleven years after his debut and appearing in the drama 오랫동안 당신을 기다렸습니다 and the musicals 삼총사 and 겨울나그네.
Jeonghan debuted with SEVENTEEN in 2015. The group has released Aju NICE and MAESTRO among other tracks. On June 20 and 21, SEVENTEEN held their 10th fan meeting, Caratland, at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
Wonwoo is currently serving as a social service worker among the remaining SEVENTEEN members. Hoshi and Woozi are serving as active-duty Army soldiers. Mingyu and Dokyeom are scheduled to enlist this year. Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino also face upcoming enlistment.
SEVENTEEN's new unit V8 — consisting of The8 (디에잇) and Vernon — is set to release their first mini album on June 29.
