Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong lead tvN's 'Chilling Romance' drama, premiering July 18

tvN's 오싹한 연애 (Chilling Romance) hits screens July 18 at 9:10 PM. Fourteen years ago, the original film pulled 3 million viewers.

Park Eun-bin plays Cheon Yeo-ri: a hotel CEO, chaebol heiress, and someone who can see ghosts. Yang Se-jong is Ma Gang-uk, a prosecutor with a spine of steel and one fatal flaw—he's terrified of them. The film's two hours stretch across 10 episodes or more.

Park Eun-bin was drawn to the role because of "the gap between her appearance as a hotel CEO and the secret she must hide." She kept Yeo-ri's hands covered in gloves throughout, a visual anchor across different scenes and moods. Yang Se-jong wanted the part for "the changing relationship between Cheon Yeo-ri and Ma Gang-uk and the narrative of overcoming their respective wounds and problems."

Ong Seong-wu, back after military discharge, joins as Kang Min-hwan. Ye Soo-jung, Cha Mi-kyung, and Jo Hye-joo fill out the rest.

Filming ran from November 2025 through June 11. A fully pre-produced drama—no waiting, no reshoots mid-air.
