PLAVE tops StarTrend male group vote on June 2; cinema film opens day after

PLAVE took 1st place in the StarTrend K-POP male group daily vote on June 2 with 247,616 votes. Their concert film PLAVE Asia Tour DASH: Quantum Leap Encore in Cinema opened the next day.

The film documents their run at Gocheok Sky Dome—the first virtual idol act to perform at the venue—which sold out every seat. Forestella finished 2nd in the male group category with 174,971 votes. La Poem came 3rd with 20,808 votes. BIGBANG placed 4th with 1,475 votes.

In the broader K-POP group category that same day, BIGBANG led with 263,119 votes. PLAVE sat 2nd at 174,738 votes. BOYNEXTDOOR placed 3rd (18,823 votes), FIFTY FIFTY 4th (6,104 votes), and SEVENTEEN 5th (4,255 votes). GFRIEND, CRAVITY, ON&OFF, Stray Kids, and KISS OF LIFE rounded out 6th through 10th.

Context matters here. BIGBANG pulled 800,000 votes in the male group category on May 30, with PLAVE 2nd at 174,544 votes that day. The June 2 gap between PLAVE's 247K and Forestella's 175K shows a tighter race.

In the individual male vote on June 2, Noh Hyun-woo of Libeante topped the chart with 300,214 votes. His group's 3rd debut anniversary fell on that same date. "The time I fearlessly jumped in with just the passion of being twenty-two is already 3 years ago," he wrote. Lee Chang-seop placed 2nd at 129,399 votes and Kang Hyung-ho 3rd at 124,188 votes.

On the female side, FIFTY FIFTY won the June 2 group vote with 224,183 votes. Triple S placed 2nd (195,542 votes) and FROMIS_9 3rd (47,457 votes). FIFTY FIFTY posted a Like_a_Bubble_challenge video on their official Instagram on June 3.
