#31 on the Billboard 200 — 114 spots up from last time
PLAVE's 5th mini album HYPERDRIVE debuted at #31 on the Billboard 200 dated October 31, 2026. It's their highest position on the chart yet. Their previous entry, the 4th mini album Caligo Pt.2, landed at #145 on the May 2 chart—the first Billboard 200 appearance by any K-pop virtual group. This time, they climbed 114 positions.
HYPERDRIVE also hit #1 on Billboard's World Albums chart. It took #1 on Emerging Artists. The album charted at #4 on Independent Albums and #25 on the Artists 100.
What's on the album
The title track is "Star Trace" (스타 트레이스), PLAVE's first EDM-based dance pop song. Bossa nova. Acoustic rock. R&B. The R&B tracks came from external producer Kenji. (Five genres across one mini album is a flex, not a gimmick, and the chart spread suggests it landed.)
