RIIZE win Show! Champion with 'Do your dance' as mini album 'II' hits 1M sales in 4 days

RIIZE claimed first place on Show! Champion with Do your dance on June 24, their first music show win of this comeback cycle.

The six-member group—Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton—released mini album II on June 15. Six tracks: Do your dance, SOAR, D-D-Done, Overdrive, Like a Bomb, and In a Loop. By June 19, it had crossed one million copies sold, making it RIIZE's fourth million-seller overall.

II hit number one on iTunes Top Albums in six regions worldwide. It topped the integrated K-pop chart across five Tencent Music platforms in China and earned Platinum certification on QQ Music (sales exceeding one million yuan), then ranked first on QQ Music's weekly digital album sales chart. In Japan, it led both AWA's real-time rising chart and Recochoku's weekly album ranking. Domestically, it took the Hanteo Chart weekly crown.

Billboard called it "an album where you can meet RIIZE's freedom and confidence" and noted the group "maintains the musical identity of 'emotional pop' while traversing diverse sounds." Genius described RIIZE as "establishing their identity as one of the most dynamic groups in K-pop" through evolving sounds across each release. FOX 13 Seattle said every track on II is "worthy of being a title track." CLASH wrote that RIIZE "does not hesitate to attempt new sounds." DORK put it plainly: "The core of RIIZE's album is self-expression" and the title track carries the message that "you don't need to be perfect to enjoy something." V Magazine analyzed that the group "emphasizes their signature with addictive hooks and dynamic choreography."

(Six outlets in one week is a lot of press for a second mini album—the numbers back it up.)

RIIZE's schedule runs through the weekend: M Countdown and Kim Ina's Starlit Night on MBC FM4U on the 25th, Show! Music Core on the 27th, and Inkigayo on the 28th.
