Singer-painter Solbi marks two decades since her 2006 Typhoon debut with 'Holiday,' a Rock & Roll digital single out June 21.

Solbi drops Holiday on June 21 via online music platforms. Her agency Jian Castle announced the release on June 16.
She debuted in 2006 with co-ed group Typhoon and has worked as both singer and painter ever since. Holiday is her first solo track in roughly two years, following Monday Disco in 2024. On the Typhoon side, it also marks about a year since the group's Pongdang! Pook.
The song runs on Rock & Roll with a modern pop twist—upbeat rhythm, a melody built to stick. Solbi co-wrote the lyrics herself. Performance director Gunjo produced the single while composer Park Hae-un handled the music; Park previously wrote DJ DOC's DOC and Dance and Run To You, as well as COOL's Beer and Peanuts.
Jian Castle said Solbi "has incorporated all her accumulated skills into this 20th anniversary single based on her explosive vocal ability and overflowing performance energy on stage." Twenty years is a long run—the credits here suggest she's treating the occasion seriously.
Solbi and Gunjo are scheduled to perform together at various concerts and festival stages going forward.
