Solbi marked 20 years since her 2006 debut with co-ed group Typhoon by releasing the digital single 'Holiday' on June 21, 2026—a track she co-wrote herself.

Twenty years after her first stage, Solbi released the digital single Holiday on June 21, 2026.
Solbi debuted in 2006 as a member of the co-ed group Typhoon (타이푼). She scored hits with the emotional dance tracks 그래서… and 그대만…, then launched a solo career with 사랑 왜 했어 in 2007.
Holiday centers on breaking free from daily routine to find small personal joys and breathing room. Solbi co-wrote the lyrics herself.
On June 30, she appeared in the "오후의 초대석" segment of SBS Radio's 그대의 오후, 정엽입니다 to reflect on the anniversary. "20 years is such a fast time," she said. "I want to praise myself saying 'I endured well.'" Her career split into two halves: the first decade consumed by life as an entertainment-industry singer, the second spent entirely on visual art.
She held her first solo art exhibition in 2012 and has been working as a painter for 14 years. (She's also published essays and written screenplays for short-form dramas.)
Solbi recalled her debut stage at age 22 with unusual clarity. Despite it being her first performance, she felt no nerves and remembers locking eyes with the camera's red light and nailing her gaze. Now in her 40s, the opposite is true. Each audience member comes into sharp focus rather than blurring into fog, and that visibility makes her more tense, not less.
