Song Ga-in returns July 2 with samba-house trot hybrid '꽃이 아니면 어떤가 (질경이)'

Song Ga-in releases 꽃이 아니면 어떤가 (질경이) on July 2 across online music platforms.

This is the third chapter of the Song Ga-in × Legend Project. Shim Soo-bong's 눈물이 난다 and Seol Un-do's 사랑의 맘보 came first. DJ CHULLY (DJ처리, real name 신철) produced all three.

The track fuses Brazilian Festival House with trot sensibility. Samba house rhythm meets trot. The subtitle 질경이 (plantain) anchors the concept: a plant that roots and blooms again even when trampled on barren ground. The song frames itself as encouragement for people carrying the weight of everyday life.

Every visual element—album artwork, concept photos, music video—came from AI-based creative techniques. J.G Star said the goal was expressing "nature's warmth and dreamlike sensibility" through fantastical aesthetics. AI concept photos dropped via official SNS on June 26. (Samba house plus trot plus AI visuals is a lot of swings at once, but the Legend Project has a track record now.)
