Dindin joins MBC's 'Playlist 109' as one of three MCs

Dindin (real name Lim Cheol, 34) is one of three MCs on MBC's 오늘을 버틴 노래-플레이리스트 109 (Today's Song to Endure – Playlist 109), which premiered July 21.

The show sends Dindin, Lee Seok-hoon, and Lee Joon across the country hunting for people's "버팀송" — songs that got them through their hardest days. They collect the stories behind them, working toward a target of 109 songs total.

On July 31, Dindin posted a group shot from the outdoor terrace of a filming location. The three MCs stood lined up side by side. His caption played with the age gap: "There are no hyungs who do this for their dongsaeng. Really." He assigned each person a Doraemon character role—"Team Doraemon," "Nojigu," "Tungtung," "Biseul"—before signing off with "Dindin is Dindin" (딘딘은딘딘).

Dindin is a fixed member on KBS2's 1박 2일. He's also appeared on tvN's 차가네 and KBS2's 누난 내게 여자야 Season 2. Recently he dropped a remake single with singer Jo Hyun-young, reinterpreting the Kim Don-gyu and Esther duet 다시 태어나도 (Born Again) by blending vocals and rap.

Separately, Dindin was named promotional ambassador for the 2026 National Disabled Students e-Festival at an appointment ceremony held at Netmarble Gita Tower. He is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony and cultural events on September 8 in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, to cheer on the finalists.
