(G)I-DLE released their ninth mini album 'We Made' on July 6, positioning it as the first installment in a 'We series' that echoes back to their 2019 album 'I Made.'

(G)I-DLE's ninth mini album, We Made, dropped on July 6.
The title pulls directly from I Made, the group's 2019 release. On July 7, the members appeared on KBS Cool FM's Pol Kim's Music Square and laid out the connection: "Starting from 'I', we became 'we' — that meaning feels very significant." After re-signing with their agency, their album titles shifted from I Am to We Are, and now We Made continues that arc. "The 'We' series is starting," they said.
This ninth mini isn't just a comeback. It's the opening move of a trilogy-in-progress the group has been building toward since their 2019 peak era. Fans who tracked every title drop already saw it coming; now the group confirmed it themselves.
The We Are to We Made progression also marks the post-re-contract era in concrete terms. The group encoded that renewal directly into the discography.
