i-dle's Minnie Teases 'Henry's First Dates' Role With 'Lucy's Diary' Capybara Post

September 23. i-dle main vocal Minnie posted a photo of herself sitting across from a capybara at an outdoor café-style table. The caption: "Lucy's Diary Part1," followed by Thai-language hashtags tied to Henry's First Dates — the Thai film where she plays Lucy, her first lead role in a Thai production.

Minnie was born in Bangkok and is now 28. She's been building out a parallel career in Thai entertainment alongside her group commitments. Her 2026 output covers serious ground: the Henry's First Dates tie-in track ขอจีบ (nice to meet you), an OST contribution to 오싹한 연애, a featuring credit on 함께라면요, solo single CARRY YOU, an OST for 세이렌, and Reservations.

From group hits to solo milestones

i-dle debuted in May 2018 with mini album I am. Minnie has handled lead and chorus parts across LATATA, 한(一), Uh-Oh, DUMDi DUMDi, 화(火花), TOMBOY, 퀸카 (Queencard), and Super Lady. Her solo chapter opened in January 2025 with mini album HER, which hit number one on music broadcasts and earned her a first terrestrial broadcast win.

On the acting side, she appeared in the 2021 Netflix sitcom 내일 지구가 망해버렸으면 좋겠어 playing a character who shares her name. The Henry's First Dates lead role is the next step.

2026 on all fronts

i-dle spent 2026 running their Syncopation world tour across Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Sydney while releasing mini album 9, We made. Minnie also made multiple charitable donations this year toward wildfire recovery and earthquake and flood relief in both Korea and Thailand.
