Im Young-woong's ULSSIGU performance version music video reached 10 million views on his official YouTube channel by July 15. It's his 108th video to cross that threshold.

The song pairs a bright, addictive melody with what's described as his "warm yet powerful" vocals. It sits on IM HERO 2, his second full-length album released August 29, 2025. The record spans 11 tracks: title track 순간을 영원처럼, ULSSIGU, 들꽃이 될게요, 비가 와서, 돌아보지 마세요, 알겠어요 미안해요, and others. Several are still charting in the upper tier of Korean rankings.

The album's Melon cumulative stream count hit 1.4 billion as of July 13. That's 100 million streams added in seven days after it crossed 1.3 billion on July 7. Im Young-woong now holds No. 1 on Melon's all-time artist cumulative streaming rankings—a position he claimed by surpassing BTS. A solo trot artist outpacing a global group on the country's biggest streaming platform.

He'll perform at IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2 at Goyang Sports Complex in September. He's also appearing on the SBS variety show 산골총각 영웅, the second season of 섬총각 영웅.
