JENNIE drops 'Less than a Lover' MV shot in Spain, co-directed by the artist herself
JENNIE drops a new single July 24 with a Spain-filmed MV she wrote, composed, and directed, starring Taiwanese model Nah Kai.
JENNIE's Less than a Lover arrived July 24. She wrote, composed, and co-directed the music video herself.
The MV was shot in Spain and stars Taiwanese model Nah Kai (나 카이), born in 2002 and based in Korea. The two run through a field together, hand in hand. Kai has modeled before—he appeared in the Blue music video for SEVENTEEN's DK and Seungkwan unit DxS.
She'd already performed the track live at Poland's Opener Festival. On July 18, JENNIE posted a Polaroid to social media: a man's shoulder, his face hidden behind a heart sticker. No caption. (The MV provides the answer.)
This follows her Dracula remix with Tame Impala, which hit #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Pop Airplay chart.
