Jungkook's 'Seven' hits 156 weeks on Billboard Global Excl. US, longest run by an Asian solo act

Jungkook's Seven has now spent 156 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global (Excluding US) chart, landing at No. 181 on the July 18 dated chart. No Asian solo artist has charted there longer.

On the same chart date, Seven sat at No. 21 on Billboard Korea's Global K-Songs chart in its 33rd week. Standing Next to You and 3D also appeared on Global K-Songs that week—at No. 73 and No. 86 respectively, each in their 33rd week on the chart.

The track's history on Billboard runs deep. Seven debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and stayed there for 15 weeks. It also held No. 1 on Billboard Global (Excl. US) for nine consecutive weeks.

Spotify tells the same story. Seven has appeared on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 156 weeks—the first and longest run for an Asian solo artist on that chart. Cumulative streams have passed 3.02 billion. It's the first song by an Asian artist and the first 2023 release to reach that number on the platform.

The Seven music video on HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel has surpassed 625 million views.
