BTS V shares quiet reading moment between ARIRANG world tour stops
V posted a photo of himself at a wooden desk with a book on Oct. 28, offering a glimpse of downtime during the ARIRANG world tour.

A desk, a book, and a world tour in the background
V posted a photo on October 28 showing him seated at a wooden desk, reading a book. A low-key update from someone currently juggling ARIRANG world tour dates across South America and beyond.
The timing is interesting. His EP Layover peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200—the highest chart position for a K-pop solo act at the time. Every track on the record crossed 100 million streams on Spotify. The B-side Love Me Again went further: it became the first B-side by a Korean artist to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.
The singles that kept running
Sweet Night, the Itaewon Class OST, hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs in 119 countries. Christmas Tree holds the record for the most-streamed K-OST on Spotify. FRI(END)S, a digital single, entered the UK Official Singles Chart Big Top 40 at No. 3 and charted for five consecutive weeks.
On the group side, BTS released their fifth regular album ARIRANG, followed by digital singles Come Over and NORMAL. V performed across all of those schedules.
Between stages
April brought V and Jungkook together on the Japanese variety program それSnow Manにやらせて下さい. He's also appeared on In the Forest: Friendship Trip and Seo-jin's, and starred opposite IU in her music video Love wins all. His acting work stretches back to the drama Hwarang, where he played Han-sung.
The October 28 reading post is what fans get between tour legs—quiet, specific, doing exactly what it needs to do. Debuted in 2013 with 2 COOL 4 SKOOL, now 30, still somehow finding time to sit at a desk with a book.
