KIKI joins 60+ acts on Nippon TV's 9.5-hour summer broadcast, introducing their 'GenZ-mi' concept to Japanese viewers for the first time.

KIKI will take the stage at Nippon TV's THE MUSIC DAY 2026 on July 4. It's their first appearance on the long-running summer special, which runs live from 1:30 PM for approximately nine and a half hours.
This year's theme is '음악의 이야기' (Stories of Music). The broadcast features more than 60 acts—Japanese artists alongside global names. KIKI will use the slot to introduce their group concept GenZ-mi to Japanese viewers.
The THE MUSIC DAY appearance caps off a Japan run that started at KCON JAPAN 2025, the group's first-ever Japanese stage. They performed with live vocals and covered 2NE1's Naega Jeil Jal Naga. Kansai Collection 2025 A/W at Kyocera Dome Osaka came next. Then they performed as the only K-pop girl group at NHK's Music Expo Live 2025 at Tokyo Dome.
Mini album 2 Delulu Pack dropped January 26. The title track 404 (New Era) and the album itself charted on Billboard Japan's Hot Albums, Artist 100, and Hitseeker Song charts. For a group still building a Japanese fanbase, three Billboard Japan entries off one mini album is solid.
The group plans to keep expanding its global footprint through domestic and international broadcasts and performances.
