KIKI drops hyperpop pre-release ahead of August 10 mini album 'WhyKiiiKiii'
Starship Entertainment's KIKI surprise-dropped a stop motion video for 'Candy Pink Magic Hole Flip Phone' on July 30. Their third mini album *WhyKiiiKiii* arrives August 10.
KIKI (지유, 이솔, 수이, 하음, 키야) is coming back August 10 with their third mini album WhyKiiiKiii. Starship Entertainment kicked off the rollout early.
On July 30, the label surprise-dropped a stop motion video on the official YouTube channel for album track Candy Pink Magic Hole Flip Phone (나 어떡해). Hyperpop built on rough electronic synth and fast-paced beats. Pre-releasing a B-side before the title track signals a deliberate genre expansion for the group.
The title track is Pop Off Pop Off, which KIKI will promote as their comeback lead. A WhyKiiiKiii Tour website has also gone live, with a dedicated "Candy Pink Magic Hole Flip Phone" course accessible at kiiikiii.kr/candypink.
