Lee Jun-young opens up about military enlistment on Yu Quiz episode 350

He calls the feeling "riding a roller coaster." That line hits harder when you know he failed over 100 auditions before his breakthrough, and that when he switched from idol to acting, someone told him straight: "Don't cause trouble and go back." He was an additional member of U-KISS before moving into dramas. His credits include Weak Hero Class 2, Poongssok Sogeassuda, and The New Employee Chairman Kang, where he played a 70-year-old chairman trapped in a man in his 20s opposite Son Hyun-joo. The episode also features a dance stage — his last before enlisting.

One story hasn't been reported before: Lee Jun-young once chased a drunk-driving vehicle for roughly an hour and turned the driver over to police.

Three other guests round out the episode. Basketball legend Lee Sang-min now coaches Busan KCC as head coach. He became the first person in Korean pro basketball to win a championship with the same team as player, coach, and head coach — five titles total across 44 years in the sport. His first win as head coach came after nine years in the role, a turnaround from sixth place in the regular season with a 0% probability of winning. (Seo Jang-hoon had told him beforehand: "Brother, if we can't win with this team, we're in big trouble.") Singer Park In-hee debuted as part of Korea's first mixed-gender duet Deux et Moi and is known for "Campfire" and "Island House Baby." She shares how she founded an LA Korean radio station after moving to the United States and united the Korean community during the 1992 LA riots. Science communicator Lee Seon-ho, known as "Exo Teacher," opens up about a period when his father was defrauded, leaving 10 billion won in debt. He lost his entire savings of 400 million won in stocks. He lost his younger sibling's 50 million won in cryptocurrency. All while being diagnosed with depression and anxiety. He describes that time as living "like a walking corpse."
