MBC's 'Nolmyeon Mwohani' returns Oct 10 with '95 Seoul Song Festival'
After three weeks off, MBC's variety show returns with a '95-era song festival—following Lee Jick and Lee Jun-young's joint grand prize win at the '80s edition.
'80s winners set the bar
Lee Jick and Lee Jun-young both took home the grand prize at the previous '80s 서울가요제—a shared win, with Lee Jick recognized for his vocals and Lee Jun-young for reinventing himself as a dance artist.
Now the show moves forward a decade. 놀면 뭐하니? returns October 10 at 6:30 PM after three weeks off the air, this time staging a '95 서울가요제.
What the preview shows
Three performances surfaced in the preview. One participant sang Kim Min-woo's 사랑일뿐야, described as having a distinctively standout voice. A male participant performed Kim Hyun-sik's 내 사랑 내 곁에 while seated on a sofa. A female participant in a white dress covered Kim Wan-sun's 삐에로는 우릴 보고 웃지.
None of the participants have been named ahead of broadcast.
