Four Hands (포핸즈) takes over tvN's Saturday-Sunday slot on August 29 at 9:10 PM, replacing Eerie Romance, which ended August 23.

This is a 12-episode original with no source material. The setting: an arts high school for music prodigies only. Friendship, love, competition, and coming-of-age anchor the story. Director Park Hyun-seok (Uncontrollably Fond, Forest of Secrets 2, Hometown) directs. Writer Shin Yi-won (Green Mothers' Club) penned the script.

Song Kang is Kang Bi-o, a first-year elite pianist who's dominated gifted academies since childhood and accepts nothing less than perfection. He's the illegitimate son of a noble family—a wound he can't quite heal. Lee Jun-young plays Choi Jung-yo, a transfer student and rising pianist in his year. Jang Gyu-ri is Hong Jae-in, a viola major with perfect pitch who can identify any musician from a single measure. She's harbored a crush on Bi-o since hearing him play.

The supporting cast anchors the family web. Yoon Se-a plays Kang Ji-hye, Bi-o's mother and former ballerina. Jung Jin-young is Kang Seung-un, his grandfather and world-renowned conductor. Seo Jae-hee plays Yoon Sun-ju, the school's director and Ji-hye's stepmother. Sung No-jin, Lee Myung-ro, and Kim Min round out the core roles, with Kim Hye-hwa, Kim Joo-heon, Lee Sang-jun, and Yoo Tae-joo in the ensemble.

Song Kang reflected on set chemistry: "We talked about scenes with each other on set and actively shared ideas, which helped us become much closer." Overseas location shooting stuck with him as a standout. Lee Jun-young said working with Song Kang and Jang Gyu-ri gave him "an opportunity to deeply reconsider what 'trendy acting these days' is." Jang Gyu-ri credited both for approaching her first and keeping the atmosphere loose. Lots of pranks. Lots of laughing.

Four Hands airs Saturdays and Sundays at 9:10 PM on tvN, with streams on Tving and Netflix.
