Lee So-ra's first single in seven years pairs her with Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung on a summer breakup track.

너의 얼굴 다 잊을게 (summer breeze) arrived on July 7. Her last release was January 2019's 신청곡 (Feat. SUGA of BTS).
Jannabi members Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung wrote and arranged the song. Jung Ji-chan produced it overall; Cho Gyu-chan directed vocals. Lee So-ra initiated the collaboration herself—inspired by the idea of a summer love song, she reached out to Choi Jung-hoon directly with the request. "When I received the song, it felt like my dormant emotions came back to life," she said. "To express the narrative of the song, I immersed myself deeply in solitude and loneliness."
The track got its live debut on KBS2TV's 더 시즌즈-성시경의 고막남친 on July 17 at 10 PM.
Seven years between releases is extreme, but Lee So-ra's history reads like a master class in K-pop longevity. She joined vocal group 낯선 사람들 in 1993, went solo in 1995, and spent six years—1996 to 2002—as MC of KBS music talk program 이소라의 프로포즈. She's currently filling in as radio host for two weeks while broadcaster An Young-mi is on maternity leave.
On why she keeps returning to music: "It seems I was born in this life as a person who sings."
