Lee So-ra returns with 'Summer Breeze' after 7-year absence

Lee So-ra is back. The veteran singer released a teaser video for her new single 너의 얼굴 다 잊을게 (Summer Breeze) at midnight on July 3 via her official SNS channels. The full track drops July 7 at 6 PM across online music platforms.

Roughly seven years have passed since her last single, 신청곡 (Feat. SUGA of BTS), which came out in January 2019. A long wait. But the timing makes sense—she's been quietly active. She appeared on 더 시즌즈-성시경의 고막남친, launched a YouTube channel, and held solo concerts.

So-ra debuted in 1993 as a member of vocal group 낯선 사람들 (Najeonseon Saramdeul) before going solo in 1995. Her singles since then: 난 행복해, 청혼, 그대안의 블루, 제발, 내곁에서 떠나가지 말아요, 기억해 줘, 바람이 분다, 트랙 (Track) 9. That catalog built her reputation as one of Korean ballad's most distinctive voices.

"It feels fresh to release a new song after such a long time," she said. "I hope many people will listen to it."
