NewJeans' 'How Sweet' crosses 300M Spotify streams — their 9th song to hit the mark

NewJeans' May 2024 single crossed 302,621,152 cumulative Spotify streams as of July 25, becoming the group's ninth song to clear the 300 million mark. The Miami bass-rooted hip-hop track topped Melon, Genie, and Bugs upon release. It stayed on the Billboard Global 200 for 13 consecutive weeks and landed at No. 7 on YouTube Korea's "2024 Most Popular Songs" list. Rolling Stone named it one of the best songs of 2024. Popmatters, Billboard, and NME each included it in their 2024 best K-pop roundups.

Zoom out. NewJeans' total Spotify streams across all released songs now approach 8 billion. Ditto and OMG each sit above 900 million. Super Shy is past 800 million. Hype Boy is past 700 million.
