Ran releases new ballad '사랑했던 기억보다' on July 25

Singer Ran released the digital single 사랑했던 기억보다 on July 25 at noon through various online music sites.

It's a traditional ballad about what lingers after a breakup—specifically, how the moment of parting stays sharper in memory than love itself ever did. Two lines spell it out: "사랑했던 기억보다 이별한 순간이 더 선명해" (the moment of parting is clearer than the memory of loving) and "오늘도 난 너를 잊지 못해 그 자리에 멈춰 서 있어" (even today I cannot forget you, standing still in that place). 필승불패 and 김정호(HOY) composed the track.

Ran debuted in 2006 with The Second Story and has kept a steady release schedule since—her own albums, drama OSTs, webtoon soundtracks. (Twenty years in and she's still in her ballad era.) 사랑했던 기억보다 is her latest.
