RAN drops new ballad single 'Deutgo Sipji Anheunde' on August 5

RAN released the new digital single 듣고 싶지 않은데 at noon on August 5 across online music platforms.

The track is a ballad built on a lyrical yet addictive melody. Its chorus zeroes in on the ache of unwanted news: "I don't want to hear it, but why does news of you doing well keep reaching me / I don't want to hear it, but seeing you smile makes me hurt even more." Production credits go to 필승불패 (Pilseungbulpae) and 변성무 (Byeon Seongmu).

RAN debuted in 2006 with The Second Story (더 세컨드 스토리). Since then she's maintained a steady release schedule, working on drama and webtoon OSTs alongside her own albums. (The OST lane suits her — this kind of gut-punch breakup writing is exactly what those placements are built for.) 듣고 싶지 않은데 is her latest original single.
