Haru Lee, 16, won a public speaking competition. Her résumé already lists sole lyricist credit on RIIZE's 'Do Your Dance.'

Haru Lee is 16. She has a RIIZE title track credit. Now she has an oratory competition trophy too.
Epic High's Tablo posted the news to the group's YouTube channel on the 2nd in a video titled 마장동까지 와서 무슨 햄버거야이거 왜 이렇게 맛있냐. Haru had recently won an award at a public speaking competition. "She seems to like oratory and such," Tablo said. "She's truly my daughter." Groupmate TooKcut chimed in: "Blood doesn't lie."
The oratory win sits atop a writing résumé that's been building fast. Haru's first songwriting credit came in November of last year on Kiki's To Me From Me. Last month she went solo—sole lyricist on RIIZE's title track Do Your Dance, a credit Tablo confirmed was fully adopted as submitted. She also worked alongside her father on translation for the film Nirvana the Band.
Born in 2010 (the year after Tablo married actress Kang Hye-jung), Haru is currently prepping for the SAT after sitting the AP exam, with U.S. college applications on the horizon. Korean audiences have watched her grow up since her appearances with Tablo on KBS 2TV's Superman Is Back.
The YouTube video also featured updates on the kids of TooKcut and Misra. TooKcut's son Yun-woo placed 2nd in an art competition and took home a large haul of cultural product vouchers. Misra's son Deun-i walked away with the most outstanding player award at a soccer competition. Tablo summed up the vibe: "I hope that when we're 60 someday, we're gathered having conversations like this—'Hey Yun-woo, how's it going at NASA?'"
(Three Epic High dads comparing their kids' trophies is genuinely the most wholesome content drop of the week.)
