tvN's colonial-era espionage romance drops its D-100 teaser with a full cast led by Kim You-jung and Park Jin-young. October 2026 premiere incoming.

tvN's 100일의 거짓말 (100 Days of Lies) released its first teaser on July 2, 2026—exactly 100 days before its October premiere as a Saturday drama.
The story unfolds in 1932 Gyeongseong during the Japanese colonial period. Kim You-jung is Lee Ga-kyung, the city's most skilled pickpocket, who was saving to escape to America when Guguk-dan, an anti-Japanese independence organization, recruited her as a spy. She goes undercover for 100 days as an interpreter at the Government-General of Chosun. Park Jin-young plays Kim Tae-woong, an elite interpreter living under the Japanese name Sato Hideo. He's the adopted son of the Vice Minister of Government Affairs, fluent in English, Japanese, and Korean. After more than a decade away, he returns to Joseon for a major mission. The two leads collide through the independence movement.
Kim Hyun-joo rounds out the cast as Yu So-ran, a sniper for Guguk-dan who picked up a gun for revenge. Lee Moo-saeng is Yu Philip, an American news agency correspondent in Gyeongseong pushing the Vice Minister on Korean independence. Jin Sun-kyu plays Sato Shin'ichi, the Government-General's second-in-command and Guguk-dan's primary target.
The teaser reconstructs 1932 Gyeongseong Station and the Government-General building. "Interpretation"—the act of translating language—anchors the plot as a device for exposing truth, lies, and hidden secrets. Given the double-agent premise, it does considerable work.
Director Yu In-sik helmed the Romantic Doctor Kim Sabu series, which peaked at 27.6% viewership, plus Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Wonderfuls. Screenwriter Ryu Bo-ri previously wrote Do You Like Brahms?
