Young K drops second solo album 'YOUNGEST' and 'Shut The Door' MV, nearly 3 years after last solo LP
Young K's second solo album *YOUNGEST* dropped July 27 with 15 tracks and a self-written title song. His sold-out tour kicks off August 14 at Incheon Inspire Arena.
Young K released YOUNGEST on July 27—his second solo regular album, arriving roughly 2 years and 10 months after Letters with notes in 2023. The 15-track project opens with Shut The Door, which he co-wrote and co-composed himself.
The song reads like diary entries about closing doors and reassuring yourself things will work out. DAY6's bass and vocalist plays multiple roles in the four-piece alongside Sungjin, Wonpil, and Dowoon. JYP Entertainment shared an MV teaser two days before release across DAY6's social channels.
YOUNGEST includes Marionette, F world, Hey Honey, 응원가, SPIKE, Yonge St., million reasons, 우리가 헤어질 100가지 이유 (featuring JINJOO of DNCE), Drivin' into Hell, whatever, Goodbye, Love, 집으로 향한다, 안개꽃, and 작업실에서 커피를. Young K posted on social media: "NEW ALBUM YOUNGEST & Shut The Door M/V Is out now finally Lets gooooo."
The album supports Young K Solo Tour YOUNGEST, a 9-show run spanning 7 regions. All three Incheon Inspire Arena dates (August 14–16) sold out during My Day fanclub presale on July 20. Young K debuted with DAY6 in 2015, launched the Even of Day unit in 2020, and went solo in 2021 with mini-album Eternal.
