The awards show, which debuted in 2017 as Soribada Best K Music Awards, hits its 10th anniversary on August 27 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

The 2026 K World Dream Awards will be held on August 27 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, marking the ceremony's 10th anniversary.
The show launched in 2017 under the name Soribada Best K Music Awards. It has since undergone several name changes to arrive at its current identity. The event aims to draw 20 million overseas visitors to Korea through K-pop and establish the country as a K-culture powerhouse.
Singer Lee Jung-seok (이정석) has been named specialist committee chair. He previously served as vice-chair of the K-Culture Powerhouse Committee and currently chairs the K-Culture Powerhouse Overseas Tourist Attraction Campaign Preparation Committee.
Confirmed performers include ATEEZ, P1Harmony, RIIZE, NINE, ANDBLE, CIYA, CWQR, ILLIT, LISENE, JB, Seong-ri (성리), EVAN, and Park Ji-hyun (박지현). LE SSERAFIM, KIKI, EXLOVE, and HiFi Unicorn have also joined the lineup. More additions are expected before the show date.
