2026 Summer SEOULCON heads to DDP Aug 22–25 with free hip-hop party and influencer talkshows
Seoul's influencer expo launches a summer edition: four days at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, with a free outdoor hip-hop concert kicking things off on August 22.
The Seoul Economic Promotion Agency is bringing 2026 Summer SEOULCON to Dongdaemun Design Plaza from August 22 to 25. This marks the first summer edition of SEOULCON, billed as the world's first influencer expo, which typically runs at year-end.
August 22 is free. From 4:30 PM to 9 PM, the DDP 어울림광장 outdoor stage hosts the Summer SEOULCON HipHop Party. No ticket needed—anyone can show up. DJs CHANXER, DNOPF, and JAESUNG spin, while 마브, 기원, 기리보이, and 릴보이 run through live hip-hop sets. F&B booths, an influencer flea market, and on-site events fill the space around the stage.
The next three days move indoors. August 23 through 25, DDP Design Lab's 4th-floor Jandi Sarangbang fills with talkshows and networking sessions. Topics span lifestyle and wellness, content strategy and channel growth, climate and environment.
August 23 runs 2026 SEOULCON – Lifestyle; Seoul. August 24 brings "Meet the PDs Who Captivated 25 Million Subscribers"—a talkshow with the creators behind YouTube channels 지식인사이드 (3.94 million subscribers) and 보다 (3.14 million subscribers). August 25 closes with EarthCreator x Miss Earth, a networking party and talkshow for climate and environment influencers.
Participating influencers will run 뷰티풀라이프인서울 programs across DDP and produce SNS content throughout. The best creators get invited back to the December SEOULCON main event for awards. The summer run feeds directly into the flagship.
SBA CEO Kim Hyun-woo said the agency will "introduce Seoul's summer and lifestyle to the world" through this inaugural summer edition and carry that momentum into December.
