AI artist RŌSIEN drops debut single and MV '너의 고막으로 닿았으면 해'

RŌSIEN dropped its debut single 너의 고막으로 닿았으면 해 — audio and MV together — at noon on August 19.

The AI artist is a joint project from content production companies UYU MEDIA LAB and Studio Myungbulheohjeon. It's positioned as a "complete agent musician" built to go beyond what existing virtual idols could do. The system runs on a large multimodal model (LMM)-based AI agent that answers any question within 3 seconds and speaks more than 47 languages.

The debut track layers nudie disco and city pop sensibilities over a bossa nova rhythm. Songwriting and composition credits go to Hong Jin-woo (홍진우) and Nam Ji-hoon (남지훈); Nam Ji-hoon also handled arrangement.

The name RŌSIEN draws from 공명 (resonance) — the idea that different lives and emotions can arrive at the same vibration through music. UYU MEDIA LAB described the project this way: "RŌSIEN will be a musician who naturally seeps into the public's daily life and commute home playlists, like someone wearing comfortable wide denim and a black t-shirt."

Later that day, RŌSIEN held RŌSIEN FIRST LIVE, a debut commemoration live stream on the official YouTube channel at 4 PM KST.

The team plans to expand RŌSIEN's musical range through collaborations with a producer team and will run 월간 로진 (Monthly RŌSIEN), a participatory project that draws inspiration from listeners' everyday lives. The goal is an AI singer-songwriter that breathes with the public rather than just broadcasting content at them.
