Choi Ye-na wins Best Music Source at 2026 K World Dream Awards for 'Catch Catch'

Choi Ye-na won the K World Dream Best Music Source Award at the 2026 K World Dream Awards on August 27 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The winning track was Catch Catch, released in March.

An electro-pop song built around the tension of a chasing-and-being-chased relationship, Catch Catch peaked at No. 4 on Melon TOP100. Five months after release, it's still holding a top-tier position. It has entered Tencent Music's Korean-language chart in China 16 times.

The numbers out of China are striking. The Catch Catch music video cleared 8 million cumulative views on Bilibili. Related content on short-form platform Douyin racked up 1.15 billion views.

The award caps a busy stretch for Ye-na. She ran a live tour across Seoul, Macau, Taipei, and Hong Kong, then staged an encore concert titled 네모로부터 시작된, 잡힐 듯 말 듯 한 이세계 : 극장판 on August 22 and 23. Five months of chart longevity plus a billion-plus Douyin tally makes the music source win feel earned rather than ceremonial.
